Haley E. Kurisky
Haley E. Kurisky is an associate in the Houston, Texas, office of Jackson Lewis P.C., where she represents employers in workplace law matters, with a particular focus on clients in the hospitality and restaurant industries. Known for her client-centric approach, she values building strong relationships via direct client interaction. Haley works closely with her clients to provide tailored advice, preparation, and coaching, ensuring they are equipped to handle complex employment law issues.
With her litigation acumen and client-centered approach combined, Haley delivers litigation and arbitration services designed to meet each client’s unique needs. She focuses on collaboration and open communication throughout the litigation process to keep clients informed and involved at every stage.
In addition to her sharp litigation skills, Haley focuses on providing preventative advice and counseling to help clients foster compliant and productive work environments. Her proactive approach is rooted in her desire to prevent legal issues before they arise, minimizing risks and promoting long-term success for clients. Haley frequently conducts workplace training, leads on-site investigations, and gives presentations to her community regarding updates in employment law in an effort to accomplish these goals. Haley’s interest in employment law sparked early on. While in law school, Haley interned for the Houston division of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in the federal section. She also interned for The Honorable Judge Lynn N. Hughes in the Southern District of Texas. She also served as the alumni and candidates editor for the Houston Journal of International Law, remaining involved with the Journal as an alum as Chairwoman of its Advisory Board.
