Frank E. Melton

Frank E. Melton is a principal in the Los Angeles, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He represents employers in a wide variety of industries and sizes litigating claims involving discrimination, retaliation and harassment; wrongful discharge; wage and hour issues, including class actions; and trade secret misappropriation, unfair competition and violation of restrictive covenants.

Frank also provides advice on day-to-day and compliance issues to employers, including matters involving employee terminations and disciplinary actions; leave of absence and disability accommodation issues; wage and hour, privacy and drug testing issues; and employment-related documents such as agreements, employee handbooks and policies.

He was a law clerk to the Honorable David V. Kenyon, U.S. District Judge, Central District of California and legislative assistant to U.S. Senator John C. Danforth, with a focus on international trade and tax policy issues.
