Lawrence H. Stone
Lawrence H. Stone is of counsel in the Los Angeles, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He formerly served as the office managing principal of that office.
Larry frequently speaks and trains on employment law topics, including the perils of managing employees in California. These topics include union organizing, managing under a union contract, sexual harassment in the workplace, leaves of absence and workplace accommodations, discipline and termination issues and avoiding workplace litigation. He regularly practices before the National Labor Relations Board, state and federal agencies and state and federal courts. In addition, he has extensive experience in all facets of union-management relations from organizing to collective bargaining, and has successfully handled numerous labor arbitrations on subjects ranging from disciplinary issues, just cause for termination and difficult contract interpretation issues. Larry has also handled matters before other administrative tribunals. He has litigated wrongful termination and discrimination lawsuits before state and federal courts and administrative agencies.
Larry joined the firm’s New York office in 1988 after practicing on the union side for two years. He relocated to California in 1990 and was office managing principal of the Los Angeles office from 1997-2015.
