Amy joins the firm from Littler Mendelson, where she was a shareholder, and brings more than 25 years of experience in employment litigation.

Amy has delivered successful results for her clients through dispositive motions, jury verdicts, arbitration rulings and favorable settlements in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies. Her practice spans class actions, PAGA matters and single-plaintiff cases, reflecting her depth of experience and versatility. She frequently defends employers of all sizes, from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies, against a broad spectrum of employment-related claims, including discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, breach of contract, and wage and hour disputes. With her strategic approach and commitment to practical, cost-effective solutions, Amy is dedicated to partnering with clients to navigate their most challenging employment law matters.
Amy is known for providing employers with creative solutions to complex legal challenges. A significant portion of her practice focuses on helping clients prevent and resolve legal disputes through proactive advice and counseling. In litigation, she defends clients in a range of cases, from single- and multi-plaintiff lawsuits to collective PAGA and class actions. Amy began her career in Silicon Valley, where she developed strong relationships with tech companies and gained insight into the legal issues facing employers in the industry. She applies this experience across other sectors, including retail automotive services, hospitality and healthcare. Amy now represents employers across various industries throughout California.

Amy emphasizes the value of building professional relationships to both support client success and foster the ongoing growth of her colleagues. Her approach to mentorship aligns with Jackson Lewis' emphasis on collaboration and developing future leaders within the firm.
Amy is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law Section and the San Francisco Bar Association. She is also an active supporter of San Diego Pride and the Tom Homann LGBTQ+ Law Association and a frequent speaker on giving back to the LGBTQ+ community. She previously served as co-chair of the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Equality Committee on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Issues.
Amy earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. She is a member of the first class to graduate from the Jepson School of Leadership Studies and holds a B.A. in Leadership Studies from the University of Richmond.
