Jackson Lewis' Corporate Counsel Conference Highlights Workplace Trends and Developments
WHITE PLAINS, NY (March 22, 2018) Jackson Lewis P.C., one of the country’s preeminent workplace law firms, hosted its 2018 Corporate Counsel Conference on March 14 - 16 at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Miami. The conference focused on significant developments and trends in employment law, including sexual harassment in the workplace. This year’s featured speakers included news commentator Ana Navarro of CNN, ABC News and Telemundo, and political reporter Robert Costa of The Washington Post, NBC News and “Washington Week”.
This year’s conference addressed several hot topics in workplace law including data security, “whistleblower” retaliation claims, severance agreements and sexual harassment in the workplace. The conference featured remarks by Ana Navarro and Robert Costa on the current political climate and its impact on workplace law.
In his opening remarks, Jackson Lewis Chairman Vincent A.
