IRVINE, CA (August 19, 2024) — Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce Heather B. Dillion has rejoined the firm's Orange County office as a principal. Dillion returns from Dorsey & Whitney, where she was a partner.
“We are thrilled to welcome Heather back to our Orange County office,” said Orange County Office Managing Principal Alison L. Lynch. “She brings a wealth of experience and a true passion for employment law that make her a fantastic addition to our team. Her knack for solving complex issues in an easily understandable way and her commitment to exceptional client service embody what we stand for at Jackson Lewis.”
Heather focuses her practice on providing preventive guidance on day-to-day employment issues and helping businesses resolve employee disputes. She assists clients with compliance on laws and regulations and develops tailored handbooks and policies to meet individual business needs. Heather also advises on pre-litigation claims and, when necessary, defends clients in litigation.
Her practice includes defending claims related to employment discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, and wage and hour violations. Heather works to understand her clients’ goals to minimize risk, limit financial impact and achieve favorable outcomes. She considers her work successful when a case is resolved in a manner that meets both the client’s legal and business objectives.
“I am excited to be back with my Jackson Lewis family and the Orange County team,” said Heather. “I’ve always enjoyed working on everyday employment issues, and I know that with Jackson Lewis’ strong resources and national presence, I’ll be well-supported as I continue to grow my practice. I’m looking forward to delivering results that truly benefit our clients and make a real impact.”
Heather earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School Los Angeles and her B.A. from the University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.
