Ross M. Gardner is a principal in the Omaha, Nebraska, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He represents management in all aspects of traditional labor law and related litigation.
Ross’s practice is focused primarily on labor relations issues. Ross has provided legal advice to clients in more than 100 union organizing campaigns, in addition to defending employers in over 75 labor arbitrations and more than 200 cases before the National Labor Relations Board, including a recent 23-day trial that was held virtually during the pandemic. Ross also has extensive experience with collective bargaining negotiations, as he has bargained with numerous labor unions all over the country, from New York City to Los Angeles.
Ross’s practice also includes a heavy emphasis on management training and desktop advice, with a special emphasis on labor relations and maintaining an issue-free work environment. Ross has developed and conducted hundreds of management training sessions educating all levels of management from front-line supervisors to the most senior executives and board members in organizations. Ross is known for developing training that is highly interactive, engaging, and educational.
Ross works with a diverse group of employers, from Fortune 100 companies to single-facility operations, and in locations ranging from small rural communities, to the largest cities in the country. Ross represents employers in a wide array of industries from transportation and warehousing, to health care, construction, telecommunications, and food manufacturing.
