Michael A. Neville
Michael Neville is an associate in the New York City, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He represents management in employment litigation and advises clients on the legal facets of the employer-employee relationship to proactively support strong and stable workplaces for clients.
With a strong sense of purpose, Michael has pursued his passion for labor and employment law. Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Michael served as in-house employment counsel for a rapidly expanding global technology start-up. Michael’s prior in-house role served as intense on the job training for recognizing—first and foremost—the importance of understanding clients’ risk tolerance, needs, and goals.
Michael handles discrimination, harassment, retaliation, fair housing, and employment contract claims in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New York State Division of Human Rights and the New York City Commission on Human Rights. Michael also has first-hand experience investigating claims of wrongdoing asserted by employees and third parties, including customers.
During law school, Michael discovered and pursued his interest in labor and employment law and served as the President of Brooklyn Law School’s Labor and Employment Law Association (“LELA”). Michael’s passion continues to flourish as he helps clients find solutions that make their organizations stronger.
