Angel R. Sevilla
Angel R. Sevilla is a principal and the office litigation manager in the in the San Francisco, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He has extensive experience representing employers in all aspects of employment litigation, including wage and hour class and collective actions, discrimination, harassment, wrongful discharge, and unfair competition claims.
Angel also counsels employers on various employment law matters and negotiates employment and severance agreements on behalf of companies and executives. He has successfully co-chaired jury trials on behalf of employers in state and federal courts. Angel has represented companies in several investigations and hearings before various administrative agencies, such as the California Civil Rights Department, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, and the United States Department of Labor. He also has a successful record in obtaining summary judgment on behalf of management in discrimination and retaliation claims. Angel also has succeeded in defeating class and conditional certification in federal wage and hour cases.
