Alessandro Botta Blondet
Alessandro Botta Blondet is an associate in the Cincinnati, Ohio, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on representing employers and institutions in workplace law matters, including litigation, preventive advice, and counseling.
Alessandro defends small, mid-size, and large employers in federal and state court and before administrative agencies in cases involving unlawful discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, whistleblower/public policy claims, FMLA, wage and hour violations, and breach of employment agreements and non-compete issues. He also has experience litigating collective actions and represents institutions and employers in NLRB unfair labor practice charges and in labor arbitrations.
Alessandro also conducts supervisor and employee trainings for employers in both Spanish and English.
During law school, Alessandro served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Michael R. Barrett of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. He was also a notes and comments editor for the University of Cincinnati Law Review and a research assistant for Professor Sandra Sperino, a distinguished labor and employment scholar. Alessandro graduated in the top third of his class, received the Gustavus Henry Wald Memorial Prize for Contracts, and placed third in the 2019 Ohio State Bar Association Labor and Employment Student Writing Competition.
