John K. Bennett is a principal in the Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His entire practice is devoted to representing employers in all areas of labor and employment-related matters.

John regularly handles employment-related litigation in federal and state courts and administrative agencies, including substantial experience in jury trials. He also handles enforcing employment agreements to arbitrate claims, and arbitrations under those agreements, as well as arbitrations under collective bargaining agreements and many other aspects of labor relations and employment law for employers. John conducts high-level internal investigations for clients. He has also been recognized for managing nationwide employment and labor counsel relationships with certain clients.

John has been ranked by Chambers USA since 2010 as a leader in the Labor and Employment Law practice areas. Chambers USA 2018 states that John is "noted for his strength in handling both contentious and non-contentious matters in the labor and employment space ... smart with a lot of experience." While attending law school, John was articles editor for the Seton Hall Law Review. From 1980-1981, he was law clerk to the late Hon. Robert L. Clifford, Justice of the New Jersey Supreme Court.
