Andrew M. Sherwood is a principal in the New York City, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Andrew’s practice focuses on representing clients in employment litigation in state and federal courts, arbitration tribunals, and before administrative agencies, handling complex cases including discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, defamation and breach of contract claims.

Andrew’s practice includes a strong emphasis on the financial services industry, with significant experience handling numerous employment arbitrations brought before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). He also advises financial services clients on a range of employment law issues, such as government investigations and compliance with FINRA’s employment-related rules, including those pertaining to Form U5s.

Before joining the Firm, Andrew was a management-side employment litigator with an AmLaw 50 firm. From 2010 through 2012, Andrew served as an honors trial attorney for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, where he litigated anti-discrimination claims against private employers and managed administrative investigations.
