Abrahams, Nolan Take the Reins of Jackson Lewis' Litigation Group
WHITE PLAINS, NY (February 16, 2016) Jackson Lewis P.C., one of the country’s preeminent workplace law firms, is pleased to announce Chicago office Principal Nadine Abrahams and Philadelphia Office Managing Principal John M. Nolan have been elevated to Practice Group Leaders of the firm’s General Employment Litigation Group.

Ms. Abrahams, who is also the Litigation Manager of Jackson Lewis’ Chicago, Madison, Milwaukee and Indianapolis offices, represents management in employment cases in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies. Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Ms. Abrahams was Senior Counsel for the Employment Litigation Division of the City of Chicago Law Department. She has been based in Chicago her entire career and has extensive experience litigating all forms of labor and employment matters throughout the Midwest, in federal courts, state courts, and before administrative agencies. Her class action, collective action, and multi-plaintiff experiences include suits by both private parties and by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Ms. Abrahams also routinely counsels clients on a variety of employment practices, including employment contracts and employee handbooks. She conducts employee training seminars, harassment investigations, and frequently speaks on employment-related topics.
Mr. Nolan, the Office Managing Principal and Litigation Manager of Jackson Lewis’ Philadelphia office, is a trial lawyer, having tried over 85 jury and non-jury cases to verdict. Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Mr. Nolan was a senior associate at a large, full-service law firm in New Jersey, and an Assistant District Attorney in New York. He regularly handles significant matters for significant clients of the firm throughout the country. Mr. Nolan has been recognized in New Jersey Super Lawyers since 2009 and The Best Lawyers in America® since 2013.
