NEW YORK, NY (October 29, 2024) Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce Principal John A. Snyder has been named a 25 Year Circle Award recipient by the Lawyers Alliance for New York for extraordinary contributions through pro bono legal services, helping nonprofits to address critical human needs and improve the quality of life for thousands of low-income New Yorkers. John and his fellow honorees were recognized at the Lawyers Alliance Cornerstone Awards ceremony on October 28 at Paramount Global in New York City.

John, who serves as co-leader of Jackson Lewis’ Real Estate industry group, has extensive experience litigating against state and federal claims of discrimination, retaliation, commission and wage-and-hour disputes, federal, state and local fair housing issues, contract issues, restrictive covenants, executive compensation and whistleblower claims. In addition to his litigation practice, John advises clients on the regulatory landscape for real estate employers, employee hiring and departure issues and drafts restrictive covenants, employment agreements and executive compensation agreements.
In addition to his work with the Lawyers' Alliance for New York, John has also provided pro bono attorney services for InMotion Counseling and mentors through the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Young Lawyers' Division and Seton Hall University’s W. Paul Stillman School of Business.

John earned his J.D. from New York University, where he served as an editor of the Review of Law and Social Change and his B.S., summa cum laude, from Seton Hall University.
