“We’re incredibly proud of Maurice for being inducted into the 2025 Lawdragon Hall of Fame,” said Detroit Office Managing Principal and Litigation Manager Emily M. Maurice has always led with integrity and a genuine desire to make a difference, and this honor is well-deserved. We’re excited to celebrate this milestone with him.”
With more than 30 years of experience in labor and employment law, Maurice is a seasoned trial lawyer and fellow in both the American College of Trial Lawyers and the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. He has first-chaired jury trials, labor and civil rights arbitrations, NLRB hearings and state civil rights administrative cases on behalf of employers across a variety of industries, including automotive, manufacturing, life sciences, telecommunications, retail and financial services.
In addition to his trial practice, Maurice frequently handles corporate compliance and internal investigation matters, including whistleblower investigations, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and claims of workplace harassment. Maurice also provides guidance on establishing and maintaining effective employee hotlines and internal reporting systems, as well as evaluating conflict-of-interest policies for multinational companies.
“I am truly honored to be inducted into the Lawdragon Hall of Fame,” said Maurice. “This recognition is not just a reflection of my career, but of the incredible teams I’ve worked with and the clients I’ve had the privilege to serve. Throughout my career, my focus has always been on advocating for fairness, integrity and positive change in the workplace. I am grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to contribute to the field of employment law, and I look forward to continuing to work alongside my colleagues and clients to drive meaningful results.”
