Jackson Lewis Strengthens International Employment Group With Addition of Jean Kim

ATLANTA, GA (January 14, 2025) Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce Jean Kim has joined its Atlanta office as a principal. A member of the firm’s International Employment group, Jean brings a wealth of experience in cross-border and global employment matters. She has advised clients on international labor, employment and immigration issues for both outbound and inbound operations. Jean's addition helps expand Jackson Lewis' International Employment team, given her current practice and experience in this area.

Jean’s practice focuses on cross-border employment law matters, helping employers navigate challenges in the global economy. She works closely with clients to develop practical, business-focused strategies for a range of global issues, including onboarding, structuring compensation, managing performance, conducting transactional due diligence, integrating workforces post-transaction and implementing reductions in force. Jean supports clients in developing global and country-specific contracts, handbooks and policies, provides guidance on protecting proprietary information and ensuring data privacy, and creates tailored global mobility programs. She also assists clients with cross-border immigration risks, oversees litigation strategies, assists in resolving international employment disputes, conducts cross-border investigations and supports M&A workforce integration efforts.

Jean earned her J.D. from the Charleston School of Law and her B.S. from Clemson University.
