Donald E. English Jr. and Amy L. Peck Win Lexology Client Choice Award for Second Consecutive Year

NEW YORK, NY (December 3, 2024) Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce Lexology has named Donald “Donny” E. English Jr. and Amy L. Peck recipients of the 2025 Client Choice Award. The award recognizes law firms and partners who stand out for their exceptional client service and the added value they bring to their clients' businesses.

“Donny and Amy are examples of the commitment and talent that distinguish Jackson Lewis’ client service from other firms,” said Firm Chair Kevin Lauri. “We are proud to see them recognized for their hard work and passion in delivering innovative solutions that meet the unique challenges our clients face every day.”

Donny is a member of Jackson Lewis’ Board of Directors, serves as the Baltimore office managing principal and is co-leader of the firm’s Trials and Appeals group. He has extensive trial experience and has been litigating employment matters in the automotive, healthcare, higher education, retail, construction, financial services and technology industries for more than 20 years. Donny also advises and trains managers and supervisors on preventive litigation practices, focusing on compliance with applicable laws and regulations, avoiding workplace disputes, resolve employee relations problems, and satisfying legitimate employee expectations. He was awarded for his work in the Labor, Employment and Benefits category.

“At Jackson Lewis, we are driving excellence in lawyering with our active investment in the development of our all of attorneys.  That investment has resulted in our ability to provide our clients with significant depth and experience across multiple jurisdictions and practice areas.”  said Donny. “While this award is a humbling individual honor, I am most proud that it also honors the Jackson Lewis attorneys who have helped me support our clients.”

Amy is a principal in the firm’s Omaha office and serves as co-leader of the Immigration group. She focuses her practice on complex immigration and workplace compliance issues. Amy’s distinct approach to client service stems from her understanding that businesses require practical advice that considers multiple perspectives, especially when employment and immigration law overlap. Her immigration experience also includes serving on the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s (AILA) Board of Governors, the American Immigration Council’s Board of Trustees and chairing the AILA National Verification Committee. Amy was awarded for her work in the Immigration category.

“Our focus has always been on providing customized, strategic counseling that not only addresses immediate immigration concerns but also aligns seamlessly with our clients’ business practices,” said Amy. “This recognition is especially rewarding because it reflects the trust and confidence our clients place in us to navigate these complexities.”

Nominations for Lexology’s Client Choice Award are uniquely made by in-house counsel. Individual lawyers and firms are rated on key client service criteria, including quality of legal advice, commercial awareness, industry knowledge, strategic thinking, billing transparency, tailored fees, value for money, responsiveness, communication, clarity of documentation, experience sharing, appropriate staffing, project management, use of technology, loyalty and ethics.

Donny earned his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School and his B.S. from the United States Air Force Academy.

Amy earned her J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law and her B.A. from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
