Trey Gutierrez is an associate in the Minneapolis, Minnesota, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. 

Trey’s experience involves a wide variety of clients, including individuals in financial need, asylum seekers, and businesses of all sizes. Drawing from his pre-law career as an award-winning journalist, Trey takes a thorough, people-focused approach to litigation and client-relations. Given his keen focus on each clients’ goals – and the current issues/industry trends informing their needs – those working with Trey find their voices both heard and amplified.

While in Law School, Trey served as a student director of the Minnesota Law School's Bankruptcy Clinic, representing clients in federal court. He also worked as a research assistant to labor & employment scholar Matthew Bodie and as an executive board member of Minnesota Law school's immigration-focused student group, Asylum Law Project.

Outside of work, Trey enjoys developing new recipes, hosting family and friends for dinner, and spending quality time with his miniature dachshund, Howie.
