Thomas B. Livingston
Thomas B. Livingston is an associate in the San Diego, California, office of Jackson Lewis. P.C. He represents employers in employment litigation claims and provides advice and counsel to employers for a variety of employment related matters.
Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Thomas worked at a national insurance defense firm handling a variety of claims including homeowner and property related disputes along with personal injury claims. Additionally, he represented employers in wrongful termination claims and other employment related matters where he developed his passion for labor and employment law and sought to exclusively dedicate his practice to this field.
Thomas represents clients in both individual and class action wrongful termination claims under the California and Federal Fair Housing and Employment Act in addition to wage, hour, meal, and rest break violation claims in both federal and state court. For every claim, he values full transparency with the client about the time, length, costs, and risks of litigation along with the strength and weaknesses of defending these claims. More importantly, he ensures that every client’s goals and concerns are established from the outset of representation so that he can formulate a litigation strategy that serves the client’s best interests.
Outside of the office, Thomas enjoys cycling, visiting our national parks, music production, and rooting for the San Diego Padres.
