Symone Trout is an associate in the Hartford, Connecticut, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.

Symone’s interest in law began at a young age when she shadowed attorneys in high school to gain exposure to the field. Although she majored in economics in college, she minored in political science to stay connected to the legal world. She pursued her J.D. four years after graduating with her undergraduate degree.

While in law school, Symone was a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Sarala V. Nagala of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut and a law clerk for Jackson Lewis. Symone also served as a student attorney in two legal clinics – the Community Legal Aid Clinic in Springfield and the Small Business Clinic. Symone also volunteered as a student attorney in both the Consumer Debt Initiative and the CORI Criminal Record Sealing and Expungement Clinic.
