Sara Khorasani is a fierce advocate for her clients, while maintaining a reasonable optimism for strategic resolution. As an associate in the Los Angeles, California office of Jackson Lewis P.C, her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Sara worked in-house on the litigation team of a multinational corporation focused on transportation, e-commerce and business services. Her practice included defending the company in employment litigation across the nation involving claims such as harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations. In addition to litigation work, she researched trends in employment litigation, regulatory compliance, and employment laws to analyze risks and recommend changes to company policies and procedures. Sara’s in-house experience helps her understand the balance needed for her clients’ business and legal needs.

Sara has previous experience in private practice representing a variety of clients in employment, entertainment, real estate, and business litigation.

Sara currently serves as a Mentor Program Coordinator for Jackson Lewis’ Los Angeles office and is a member of the firm’s Middle Eastern North African Attorney Resource Group. She is also a part of the Jackson Lewis RISE Mentorship Program. Outside of work, Sara volunteers as a Mentor for the UC Law SF Alumni Mentor Program. She previously sat on the admissions committee for her alma mater.

While in law school, Sara served as symposium editor of the Hastings Communications and Entertainment Law Journal where her article on sexual harassment in the entertainment industry was published in the Winter 2019 edition. She also served as the President of the Association for Entertainment and Sports Law and Vice President of the Hastings Food and Wine Law Society.

Sara is a member of the Iranian American Bar Association, where she previously served as a board member of the Northern California Chapter from 2017-2019.
