Samuel J. Maselli
Sam Maselli is of counsel in the Sacramento, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Sam represents clients in labor and employment litigation matters, with a focus on class action defense. He has represented public corporations, private companies, and individual clients in a broad range of federal, state, arbitrational, and administrative proceedings throughout California and the United States.
Before joining the firm, Sam represented clients in civil litigation, with an emphasis in business disputes, class actions, and complex litigation. He has represented clients in cases involving claims for wage and hour violations, discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, fraud, business interference, defamation, patent infringement, unfair competition and business practices, negligence, breach of contract, and breach of fiduciary duty. Sam has also represented clients in connection with a variety of business transactions, counseling matters, and governmental investigations. He has tried cases by jury and before the United States International Trade Commission.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Sam served as a congressional aide in Washington, D.C. and as an advocate for the rural telecommunications industry, focusing on federal legislative and regulatory issues confronting that industry. He has testified before the United States Congress on rural development and infrastructure financing issues.
Sam is the proud father of two teenaged children. He currently resides in Fair Oaks, California.
