Ricardo Baca
Ricardo Baca is an associate in the San Diego office and focuses on representing employers in workplace law litigation and providing preventative advice and counseling.
Ricardo has significant litigation experience as a defense attorney. He has handled a multitude of civil cases ranging from single party wrongful termination claims to a complex case with 60-plaintiffs suing a single entity. Ricardo’s litigation style is to be proactive and hands-on in each of his cases. He handles cases from inception to conclusion. He has jury trial experience and recognizes that some cases need to be tried when a reasonable resolution cannot be reached. Ricardo has handled claims in both state and federal courts.
Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Ricardo worked for a defense firm that represented public entities throughout California. At his prior firm, he acquired litigation experience in employment, constitutional violations, dangerous condition of public property, personal injury, wrongful death, and other matters.
During his entire time at law school and undergraduate school, Ricardo continued to work at Kaiser Permanente, a healthcare provider that operates in eight states. His strong work ethic propels him to push for the best results for his clients and to work tirelessly to keep his client’s cases progressing.
Ricardo enjoys traveling and has visited four of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
