Raina Sharma

Raina Sharma is an associate in the Orange County, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, such as state and federal claims involving race, age, disability, and sex discrimination, as well as sexual harassment, retaliatory discharge, and wage and hour issues. Raina also provides services to safeguard California companies from unfair competition through Jackson Lewis' Restrictive Covenants, Trade Secrets and Unfair Competition practice group. She strives to become an integral member of her clients’ team in order to deliver high-value legal services.

When litigation is necessary, Raina stands ready. Before joining Jackson Lewis, Raina was a deputy public defender and represented clients throughout the entire litigation process. Raina’s litigation experience includes investigations, negotiations, status conferences, motion hearings, and jury trials. Raina successfully second chaired a jury trial which resulted in a not guilty verdict for her client.

Raina enjoys being involved in the local community and providing her services to non-profits. While in law school, Raina was an associate editor on UC Irvine Law Review and contributed over 200 pro bono hours to the California Innocence Project Collaboration and the Legal Aid Society of Orange County. She is actively involved in local San Diego legal associations and non-profits. In her free time, Raina enjoys yoga, the gym, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends, and cat Chloe.
