Nicole R. Eatmon
Nicole Eatmon is an associate in the Chicago, Illinois, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.
While attending law school, Nicole served as an associate editor of the Journal of Law and Social Policy from 2022 to 2023. As a part of her clinical coursework, she participated in the Women and Children’s Human Rights Advocacy: International and Domestic clinic group as well as the Rodrick & Solange MacArthur Justice Center. In the Women and Children’s Human Rights Advocacy clinic, Nicole assisted her clients in submitting complaints to the United Nations Working Group on Arbitrary Detention. During her time as a student attorney for the MacArthur Justice Center, she worked in the appellate group of the Civil Rights Litigation Clinic, where she aided incarcerated and formerly incarcerated clients appeal the dismissal of their Monell claims.
In 2021, Nicole completed a legal internship at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. In 2022, she worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Freddrenna Lyle, Cook County Circuit Court, Chancery Division, who is currently fulfilling her appointment to the Illinois Appellate Court First District.
Outside of her legal work, Nicole is an active volunteer and alumna of the Posse Foundation—a non-profit organization committed to the identification, recruiting, and training of young college students with extraordinary leadership potential from diverse backgrounds.
