Monica H. Bullock
Monica H. Bullock is a principal in the Riverside, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Monica practices employment litigation on behalf of management and provides advice and counsel on all facets of labor and employment law. She has represented employers in the retail, health care, service, intellectual property, staffing, medical, transportation, and insurance industries. Monica brings a wealth of relevant experience to her practice. In addition to defending hundreds of single plaintiff employment cases, Monica has handled many class action and PAGA cases. Her practice includes litigation under the Fair Employment and Housing Act, Title VII, the California Labor Code, Federal Labor Standards Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, California Family Rights Act, Family Medical Leave Act, and Cal-OSHA.
Monica is a member of Jackson Lewis’ Wage and Hour, Class Action, Disability Leave and Health Management, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration teams. She has helped draft employment handbooks, company policies, and arbitration agreements for a wide range of businesses. Monica maintains long-term relationships with clients, who can count on her responsiveness, attention to detail, and thorough legal advice. She is knowledgeable of the unique challenges facing California employers and proactive in providing counsel which safeguards clients’ interests. She has exclusively practiced defense-side labor and employment law since graduating from UCLA Law School in 2000. Monica has been published in a number of legal journals and is known for her excellent verbal and written communication skills and personable demeanor.
Monica participated in the publication of a national treatise covering topics related to the Americans with Disabilities Act and hiring practices and has authored articles on California law for JL. While attending law school, Monica served as an editor of the UCLA Law Review and president of the Women’s Law Union. She has published articles in the UCLA Law Review and the Journal of Legislation.
