Maria E. Sanchez Delucca
Maria E. Sanchez Delucca is an associate in the Indianapolis, Indiana, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. She represents employers in both state and federal courts, focusing on defending against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wage and hour compliance. Maria handles all phases of the litigation process from drafting motions and preparing depositions to attending settlement conferences and mediations. She also advocates for clients before administrative bodies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Indiana Civil Rights Commission and National Labor Relations Board.
In addition to her litigation work, Maria provides strategic advice and counsel to employers on a range of employment issues. She assists clients with evaluating and advising on internal policies, protocols and practices, conducting internal investigations and preparing severance and separation agreements.
Maria’s journey with Jackson Lewis began as a law clerk and summer associate, where she honed her legal skills and built a strong foundation for her career. She graduated from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and is a member of the Indiana State Bar and U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
Before embarking on her legal career, Maria worked as a mental health therapist serving the Indiana community. She holds a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University. Maria also attended Universidad Arturo Michelena in Venezuela, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Psychology.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Maria enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and exercising.
