Loren M. Korkin

Loren M. Korkin is an associate in the Miami, Florida, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.

Loren regularly assists companies as they navigate through employment-related claims in federal courts, state courts, and before administrative tribunals. He litigates cases alleging wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour violations, violation of non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, and unfair business practices. He also assists employers in complying with federal and state employment laws, as well as in implementing preventive measures to avoid litigation, including the formulation of personnel policies and procedures.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Loren worked at a respected mid-size litigation firm where he represented Fortune 500 businesses and small businesses in commercial disputes and personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, and construction claims. In that capacity, he has obtained multiple judgments in favor of his clients and has negotiated favorable settlements for his clients that sought extraction from litigation.

Loren graduated with honors from the Florida International University College of Law. He earned a number of distinctions including the Dean's List, CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Legal Research and Writing and Trial Advocacy and received an Honor Medallion for Excellence in Civic Engagement. Loren also served on the FIU Law Review, the FIU Negotiations Team, and as an Executive Board Member of the Jewish Law Students Association.
