Leonard V. Jones

Leonard Jones is an associate in the Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. with extensive experience in employment litigation, counseling, and workplace training. He has successfully defended clients in state and federal courts on a wide range of matters, including race, age, gender, religion, and disability discrimination lawsuits, wage and hour class and collective actions, and whistleblower and retaliation claims. Leonard also represents clients before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights.

In addition to his litigation work, Leonard provides strategic counsel to clients on employment law issues and conducts thorough investigations into harassment and whistleblower claims. He works closely with clients to resolve disputes efficiently through favorable settlements, summary judgment dismissals, or defense verdicts at trial.

A frequent lecturer and panelist, Leonard speaks on employment law and diversity-related topics, sharing insights at conferences and bar association events. He is an active leader in the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Garden State Bar Association, and the Union County Bar Association, where he advocates for diversity and inclusion within the legal profession.

Recently reappointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court, Leonard serves a four-year term as chair of the District XII Fee Arbitration Committee. He is also an active member of the Alpha Alpha Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
