Lauren Shelby is an associate in the Orange County, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling. Lauren works with clients as their strategic partner, simplifying complex problems and zealously advocating on their behalf.

Lauren is experienced with all stages of litigation and has defended clients in a variety of industries with matters involving wage and hour class actions, representative actions, and wrongful termination. She also routinely advises employers on employment policies, practices, review of handbooks, and personnel decisions. 

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Lauren was a litigation attorney at a regional law firm where she defended wage and hour class actions, retaliation and discrimination claims, and complex real estate disputes. 

While attending law school, Lauren served as style editor on Law Review. She also participated in various community legal clinics involving filing civil actions and bankruptcy petitions.

Lauren maintains her commitment to her community by working with various non-profits and on pro bono projects.
