Kimberly R. Ophaso is an associate in the San Diego, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Kimberly worked at a public entity defense firm, where she acquired litigation experience in dangerous condition of public property, wrongful death, employment, and other matters.

In law school, Kimberly earned the Justice Anthony Kennedy Scholarship, her school's highest merit scholarship, and received the top grade in four of her classes. Prior to attending law school, Kimberly worked as a User Experience Designer for six years for Fortune 500 companies such as Microsoft and Costco, as well as telehealth and eCommerce startups. Kimberly’s experience coordinating multiple stakeholders in these positions has honed her ability to identify pain points and get to the root of a problem. Outside of the office, Kimberly enjoys gardening and making ceramics at her local community studio.
