
Kevin E. Barnett is an associate in the Dallas, Texas office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Having dedicated his practice to defending employers in litigation, Kevin understands the disruption adverse legal issues can have on a company’s workforce and strives to employ creative and efficient strategies to obtain optimal results for his clients.
Whether proactively assessing the application of existing and emerging legislation and regulation to prevent employment disputes, or applying that understanding to resolve active matters, Kevin guides employers through the intersections of law and their business. Kevin’s experience includes defending employers, from entrepreneurs to publicly traded companies. Accordingly, Kevin is no stranger to adopting the most advantageous approach to meet the circumstances of each client and each matter, building partnerships based on trust and confidence. Kevin has served businesses spanning various sectors. For example, he has experience in the logistics, finance and healthcare industries.
Kevin has volunteered as an Emergency Medical Responder and Volunteer EMT. Kevin’s field experience in multiple sectors of healthcare lends to his distinct perspective on disputes and matters across the industry. He is readily prepared to apply this perspective and advise a diverse array of clients, no matter how intricate their needs are. While in law school, Kevin was a Staff Member for The North Carolina Journal of International Law and a Coach & Team Member of the Broun National Trial Team.
Outside of the law, Kevin’s interests lie in college sports, film & television, horology and dog training.
