Jennifer E. Burgess
Jennifer Burgess is the Knowledge Management (“KM”) Attorney for Jackson Lewis P.C.’s Corporate Diversity Counseling and Restrictive Covenants, Trade Secrets and Unfair Competition groups, and is based in the Chicago, Illinois, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. With her collaborative, strategy-focused approach, Jennifer is dedicated to ensuring Jackson Lewis attorneys demonstrate an unmatched understanding of client needs and expectations.
Jennifer draws on nearly a decade of federal litigation experience, where she learned the importance of communication and flexibility in the successful practice of law. These qualities, along with an emphasis on efficiency and client service, are the cornerstones of her KM philosophy.
In addition to federal litigation, Jennifer’s law practice has included workers’ compensation and experience working in state and federal agencies. She previously taught labor and employment, business law, contracts, and legal writing with the City Colleges of Chicago paralegal certification program.
