Jaime Reitz is an associate in the Tampa, Florida, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters in federal and state courts, as well as in various administrative proceedings. Jaime routinely handles representing management in litigation of claims arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, the Florida Civil Rights Act and claims of whistleblowing and retaliation. She also works with clients to avoid litigation by providing preventative advice and counseling.
Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Jaime focused her practice on the defense of complex civil litigation cases. She worked closely with various industry clients including hospitality, higher education and other large businesses. While in law school, Jaime interned for the Honorable Steven Rogers in the Fifth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida where he presided over a variety of matters.
Given her vast array of experiences, Jaime has learned the value of analyzing a claim from all angles and incorporates her background, understanding, and prior work experiences in working with large clients on some of their most difficult and complex matters to her work in counseling and defending employers.
