Isaac J. Burker
Isaac J. Burker is a principal in the White Plains, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. As a member of the firm’s Reductions-in-Force/WARN Act group, he enjoys helping businesses find creative and equitable solutions to workforce challenges. Isaac’s approach to client service is to brainstorm with clients to truly understand their goals and uncover the best available means to achieve them.
Isaac also regularly handles various types of workplace litigation, from single plaintiff discrimination cases to wage and hour class and collective actions. As a litigator, Isaac is a zealous advocate for his clients, while also being mindful of their ultimate objectives. Isaac represents management in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies, including the New York State Division of Human Rights, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and various divisions of the Department of Labor. Isaac also regularly counsels clients on various workplace issues such as worker misclassification and wage and hour issues.
While in law school, Isaac served as a research editor for the Hofstra Labor and Employment Law Journal , during which he developed a fascination with employment law.
