Holly Fredericksen is an associate in the Washington D.C. Region office of Jackson Lewis P.C. She is a member of the firm’s litigation team and is also involved in the restrictive covenants practice group. Holly’s practice focuses on defending employers and providing innovative solutions to the problems clients face. She believes, in the words of a book she loves, that “everything is figureoutable” and she enjoys the challenge of helping clients navigate complex issues. Her passion for people and finding ways to serve them is what drives her each day and makes her work so rewarding.

Holly grew up in a military family, and as a kid, she loved the experience of living in different parts of the country and meeting all kinds of people. As a benefit of all of the frequent moves, she learned to be flexible and adapt quickly to any situation, a skill she uses to effectively manage all the twists and turns that can come with litigation.

She was fortunate to have an amazing mentor who inspired her to go to law school and pursue a career in employment law. She graduated from the University of Richmond School of Law, where she served as Articles and Comments Editor for Richmond Law Review. During law school, Holly also interned with the Virginia Department of Human Resource Management Employment Dispute Resolution team, where she gained valuable experience investigating discrimination and harassment claims and handling other complex workplace issues. This confirmed her desire to work in employment law, and after spending a summer with Jackson Lewis P.C., she knew this was the firm for her.

Holly is eager to help in any way that she can, and she seeks to come alongside clients as a creative problem solver while also empowering them to make informed decisions throughout the process. As a former D1 college athlete, she has years of experience setting and achieving lofty goals. She looks forward to working with clients to help them achieve their goals too.
