Erica Khaine

Erica is an associate in the Orange County office, California, who focuses on defending companies in employment law matters. In addition, Erica also works with companies in improving their handbook and related policies to mitigate potential litigation and ensure that their company policies comply with California and federal law.

Prior to working at Jackson Lewis, Erica worked as a labor and employment associate at a large law firm in Los Angeles.  While at her former firm, Erica successfully defended clients against discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims based on various protected classifications. As a result, Erica has gained a thorough understanding of the intricacies of the litigation process and being service-oriented towards clients and other stakeholders, including insurance carriers.

While in law school, Erica was on the board of the Labor and Employment Law Association and the Asian Pacific Islander Law Association. She also volunteered at the Asian Bar of Washington’s Free Legal Clinic, helping connect individuals to various legal resources.
