Christian A. Yingling
Christian Yingling is an attorney in the Washington, D.C. Region office of Jackson Lewis P.C. She uses her significant experience in complex civil litigation and employer representation to counsel clients and provide a critical edge throughout the litigation, pre-litigation, and dispute resolution processes. She works with employers of all sizes, providing each client with high-caliber guidance.
Christian’s experience in counseling provides employers with an edge with issues related to Title VII, Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and state and federal employment law compliance. She is skilled in handling internal investigations, drafting employee handbooks, providing advice related to discharge and discipline practices, and answering compliance questions. Christian’s clients leverage her knowledge and expertise to gain a competitive advantage and achieve strategic goals.
Christian graduated from George Mason University School of Law where she was a member of the Trial Advocacy Association and won the Thacher Intramural Competition and Curran and Whittington Scholarship in Trial Advocacy. She also was a regional semi-finalist in the American Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law Tria Advocacy Competition and the American Association of Justice Competition. As an undergraduate at George Mason University, Christian received a degree in music (studying opera) and was the editor-in-chief of the university’s student newspaper, executive editor of the student news website, and the founding editor of the university’s political news website. Her work was published by The New York Times.
Christian served as a law clerk to the Hon. Stephen C. Shannon from August 2016 to August 2017. She also was an adjunct law professor at George Mason University’s School of Law from 2021 to 2022. In 2022, Virginia Lawyers Weekly selected her as an Up & Coming Lawyer.
