Brenda Alejo is an associate in the Austin, Texas, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters before federal courts, state courts, and administrative agencies. In addition, Brenda provides preventive advice and counseling to her clients about employment-related issues.
Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Brenda developed her litigation skills at firms in Austin, Texas and New York City, representing and defending small and large clients in a wide variety of matters, including business disputes, construction lawsuit, tort cases, and complex litigation.
During law school, Brenda served as chair of the Moot Court Association and received several awards in moot court competitions, resulting in her induction to the Order of the Barristers. Brenda was also a member of the Dispute Resolution Team and assisted her team in securing awards at various competitions, as well. For her contributions, she was awarded the Best Advocate Award and was named the National Association of Women Lawyers Honoree at graduation.
