Annabel R. Stanley
Annabel Stanley is an associate in the New York City, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her goal is to develop solutions to complex workplace issues for employers in many industries, including hospitality, retail, and transportation, so their businesses continue to thrive.
Annabel defends clients in employment litigation, with a focus on complex class and collective actions. Annabel dedicates significant effort to understanding her clients’ business priorities to provide strategic and sensible approaches when defending against single plaintiff and class actions of all sizes. She combines an aggressive and creative approach to case analysis to deliver settlements most favorable to her clients. Annabel has experience in wage and hour collective actions, mediations, and has litigated in federal court.
Annabel proactively guides clients on advice and counsel matters, including day-to-day compliance and updates to employer handbooks, with the goal of preventing and reducing risk to their businesses. She conducts workplace trainings for Human Resources and Legal Departments on topics such as the Fair Labor Standards Act, confidentiality, and accommodations.
Annabel uses her previous experience at a plaintiff’s side firm to anticipate opposing arguments and develop successful defense strategies.
