Angelika Avagian is an associate in the Los Angeles, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. As a law student, Angelika served as an extern for the Honorable Neil W. Bason in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court and for the Honorable Dolly M. Gee in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, where she evaluated cases involving copyright infringement, anti-SLAPP laws, and defamation, giving her a keen insight into entertainment litigation and how it intersects with employment and labor law.

While in law school, Angelika worked as a business affairs intern for the Walt Disney Company. Angelika also worked as a law clerk for a large law firm specializing in entertainment, technology, and advertising law. She also served as an editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review and was a research assistant to the Director of the Entertainment and Media Institute and to the Theodore A. Bruinsma Fellow. Prior to attending law school, Angelika served as an intern for Congresswoman Nanette D. Barragan’s office on Capitol Hill.
