Nareg A. Kourouyan
Nareg A. Kourouyan is an associate in the Los Angeles, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.
Before joining Jackson Lewis, Nareg was an associate for a national defense law firm and focused on representing employers and insurers in single/multi-plaintiff employment matters, including issues involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes.
Nareg has second-chaired a high-stakes multi-plaintiff wrongful termination trial and helped successfully limit the jury verdict to only five percent of plaintiffs’ requested damages. Additionally, Nareg is experienced in all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery and corresponding motions, preparing for depositions and mediations, and preparing for trial.
During law school, Nareg served as an extern for the Honorable J. Stephen Czuleger in the Los Angeles Superior Court, where he observed several long-cause civil trials, one of which resulted in a verdict of over $50 million. Nareg also worked as a law clerk for a plaintiff-side firm specializing in employment law. He also served as an editor for the Loyola Law School International and Comparative Law Review. Prior to attending law school, Nareg served as an intern for Congressman Adam Schiff’s office on Capitol Hill.
