Raseq Moizuddin

Raseq Moizuddin is an associate in the Chicago, Illinois, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling and employment disputes.

Raseq understands that each client has specific needs when it comes to resolving an employment dispute. Whether it is pursuing a settlement due to business-related decisions, being aggressive and seeking dismissal at the outset of a case or trying a case all the way through a trial or hearing, Raseq’s experience allows him to unify the client’s interest with effective legal strategy to reach the most valuable outcome for his clients. 

Raseq has utilized that approach to represent clients in a variety of cases involving the Illinois Biometric Privacy Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Illinois Human Rights Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act, and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and breaches of employment agreements, including disputes regarding restrictive covenants, shareholder’s rights, compensation, and termination.

In addition to his litigation practice, Raseq has experience advising clients regarding compliance with transportation-related provisions under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Code of Federal Regulations, COVID-19 mandates, and general workplace policies.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Raseq practiced in the Chicago office of an international law firm, where he represented local, national and global entities in commercial litigation matters involving employment disputes, products liability, fraud, and breach of contract matters.

While attending law school, Raseq worked as an extern in the Circuit Court of Cook County and participated in DePaul University’s College of Law’s Technology and Intellectual Property Clinic and Criminal Misdemeanor Clinic.
