Daniel B. Harris
Daniel B. Harris is an associate in the Birmingham, Alabama, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including defense of litigated matters, preventive advice and counseling, and employee training.
No matter the issue presented, Daniel tailors his approach to the goals and needs of each client, always seeking the most effective and efficient resolution possible for the employer. Daniel’s experience allows him to effectively partner with clients to meet their varied needs, ranging from preparation of employment policies and litigation avoidance advice to defense of intensive litigation through trial and beyond.
Prior to joining the firm, Daniel served as a law clerk to the Honorable William M. Acker, Jr., Senior District Judge in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, and he regularly leverages this courthouse experience on behalf of his clients. During law school, Daniel served as the Acquisitions Editor for the Alabama Law Review and was a member of the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Moot Court team.
Outside of his law practice, Daniel enjoys playing the trombone, and he was a section leader in the Million Dollar Band during his time at the University of Alabama.
