Sanjana Biswas is an associate in the New York City, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.

Sanjana has experience handling employment discrimination and wage and hour actions. She represents management in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New York State Division of Human Rights, and the New York City Commission on Human Rights.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Sanjana was an associate in the Employment Practice Group of a national law firm in New York City. She was also a former Assistant District Attorney at the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office.

During law school, Sanjana participated in American University’s Civil Advocacy Clinic, representing employees in wrongful termination and wage theft actions. She was also the Senior Articles Editor of American University’s Administrative Law Review and received Highest Grade Designations in legal research and writing and civil trial advocacy.
