NEW YORK, NY (January 22, 2024) National employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce the launch of its "NLRB Petition & Charge Activity Dashboard." The dashboard has been developed by the firm’s Labor Relations group in collaboration with its Innovation and Technology teams and is designed to empower employers with real time, practical access to information concerning union organizing and unfair labor practice charge activity.
"We are thrilled to unveil the NLRB Petition & Charge Activity Dashboard,” said Labor Relations group Co-Leaders Laura A. Pierson-Scheinberg and Richard F. Vitarelli. “Designed with user needs in mind, the dashboard represents a significant advancement in how we can support our clients in accessing the most current information about organizing and unfair labor practice charges in a user friendly, customized format.”
The NLRB Petition & Charge Activity Dashboard aggregates and analyzes data from the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) website, focusing on petitions and unfair labor practice (ULP) charges filed since 2019 across various states and NLRB regions. The dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of the top unions involved, top cities with the most activity, the most common ULP allegations and the number of filings per quarter. This detailed analysis and tracking of labor organizing trends offer invaluable insights for employers.
Key features of the dashboard include robust filtering capabilities, allowing users to sort data by date filed, case type, case status, union involved, specific allegations and the number of employees affected by the ULP charge or petition. To further enhance the user experience, the map includes detailed heat maps for each state and NLRB region, providing a visual representation of organizing petition and charge filings in those areas. Additionally, the dashboard provides “drill-through” options for a more comprehensive analysis of labor trends and activity.
The dashboard reflects Jackson Lewis' ongoing commitment to innovation and client success. By developing and applying practical solutions, our attorneys provide tools to support employers in understanding their markets and industry trends impacting labor relations in the communities where they operate. The NLRB Petition & Charge Activity Dashboard offers a powerful, user-friendly platform that supports informed decision-making. Through such innovations, Jackson Lewis reaffirms its role as a leader in the legal industry, consistently prioritizing client needs and enhancing the overall client experience.
“By providing detailed insights and robust filtering capabilities, we empower our clients with the information they need to make informed decisions and effectively guide proactive labor relations,” said Rick. “Our collaboration with the firm’s Innovation and Technology teams over the past year has been instrumental in bringing this project to fruition, and we are excited to see the positive impact it will have on our clients' operations."
