Raja A. Hafed is an associate in the Sacramento, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters. She has represented employers in a variety of matters including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and retaliation claims. Raja also defends employers on wage and hour class actions and Private Attorney General Act claims.
After law school and prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Raja worked at a prominent west coast civil litigation defense firm where she represented clients in employment and labor, personal injury, and real estate matters. Before that, Raja worked for a boutique personal injury firm in the Sacramento region. Her prior experience allowed her to gain extensive experience through all stages of litigation, including court appearances, depositions, discovery, dispositive motions, pleadings, and trial.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Raja worked alongside her father and siblings in the family restaurant for more than 15 years. During this time was when Raja’s interest for labor and employment started. Since then, she has pursued this interest by representing employers in workplace matters throughout her career.
While in law school, Raja interned at the San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office and second-chaired a felony vehicular manslaughter case.
Raja’s unique background provides her with the ability to adapt to client needs and ensure clients receive comprehensive legal support for their business.
