Veena Bhatia

Veena Bhatia is an associate in the Silicon Valley, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. She advocates on behalf of local and national employers focusing on wide-ranging employment law matters. Veena helps resolve employment disputes across administrative agencies, and state, federal, and appellate courts. Truly versatile, she also provides her clients with preventive advice and counseling.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis P.C., Veena worked at a civil defense firm, achieving litigation success in areas of construction defect, property management, personal injury, and product liability. She also worked at a plaintiffs’ side litigation firm where she focused on matters involving financial fraud, elder abuse, environmental torts, and consumer protection. With her dual and expansive experience with civil litigation, she offers a comprehensive approach to defending employers.

Veena’s early legal experience was formative of her now client-centered employment practice. While attending law school, Veena was a law clerk at a litigation firm working on complex commercial business matters. Prior to law school, she worked at two prominent litigation firms in San Francisco. Veena also held coveted internships at several governmental agencies at the local, state, and federal levels, including the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office, California Department of Justice, and the United States Department of Justice.
