Tina Dukandar
Tina Dukandar is an associate in the Indianapolis, Indiana office of Jackson Lewis P.C. She represents employers in a wide range of employment litigation matters with a focus on protecting client’s confidential information.
With a passion for protecting innovation and intellectual property, Tina is a seasoned attorney renowned for her knowledge and experience in trade secret misappropriation cases. She proactively develops strategies for employers to protect their confidential information through training employees in various roles, developing company policies and procedures, and drafting non-compete, non-disclosure, non-solicitation, and confidentiality agreements. Tina has also worked with clients both pursuing and defending against claims in state and federal courts.
Tina also represents employers before state and federal agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. This includes matters involving claims of discrimination, harassment wrongful termination, and/or retaliation under the ADA, ADEA, Title VII, PWFA, and FMLA.
Further, in addition to her litigation experience, Tina has earned the CIPP/US credential through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). She has an in-depth understanding of how privacy and security laws and regulations can impact business operations. Tina advises clients on a variety of privacy and security laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and state breach notification statutes, to mitigate risk and potential loss and misuse of information.
During law school, Tina served as a writer on the Federal Communications Law Journal.
