Jonathan R. Stilz

Jonathan R. Stilz is an associate in the Orange County office. He represents employers in workplace law matters, including pre-litigation claims, litigation in state and federal court, and administrative proceedings, as well as preventive advice and counseling. Jonathan is experienced in all stages of litigation, from case inception through trial and arbitration where he has served as second chair.

Jonathan began his career practicing business and commercial litigation. This experience gave him a practical understanding of the business realities his clients often face, including an awareness of the business and operational impacts litigation may cause.  Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Jonathan was a litigator at a prominent plaintiff-side law firm specializing in class and representative actions. The perspective he gained on the employee side allows Jonathan to remain a step ahead of his opponents, often anticipating case strategy and bringing a practical, problem-solving approach to his cases.

When Jonathan is not working, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two daughters and taking advantage of the beautiful California weather by spending time outdoors, surfing, mountain biking, and snowboarding.
